Arnold Schwarzenegger may have stumbled across a new career after helping two fans get engaged during a talk in Leeds last week.
The 67-year-old appeared at an evening in his honour at Leeds United’s Elland Road ground on Friday evening.
During the event, hosted by Jonathan Ross, Schwarzenegger invited fans Dean Goulding and Jessica Eddy on stage.
Goulding, 29, then dropped to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend of six years.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post , Eddy said: "I still can’t believe it, I’m so shocked. It feels like I’m in a dream.”
The university receptionist, 25, added: “Arnie comes across the funniest person and seems so grounded and really kind-hearted – and what he did for us really shows that."
“I’m a massive Arnie fan but Dean’s the one who has lots of pictures of him around the house!”
